Where can I get the files for This?

Oh I've just realized that today is 7 years since I made this account and my very first submission to this page!! I'm overjoyed that so many people are as interested in Legacy Console Edition assets as I am and I look forward to ripping more assets until there are no more to rip. Thank you!! ^^

I've done a few revisions to the textures, still pending, that corrects the file names in some of my previous submissions, since at the time, the PCK format was changed and we were unable to extract them correctly. Obviously as years went on, the format has since been reverse engineered, and now we have the proper file names. So now you should have all of the correct skin and cape ids. (:

Skin Pack 4 released in 2013, and Skin Packs 5 and 6 released in 2014 respectively. These packs never released outside of the Xbox editions of the game and are missing from the Bedrock marketplace as of the writing of this.

when was there a skin pack 4 and 5

I was alwayse sad I couldent get the Spider-Man pack on Ps3

The skins work for modern releases lets go

For every DLC purchase, there's a copy of the PCK files in the packages downloaded from the store. I'm not sure how up to date said packages are, but they're in there. The Title Updates have the updated DLC packs in them, newer textures, skin pack and UI format changes, etc.
Edit 10/26/22: Now with further understanding of how the game works, I can now clarify that yes, while the game does install the DLC files from the store, they are only the initial version of the pack. Meaning it's not up to date in the slightest. 4J Studios would include the DLCs in the actual Title Update files to keep them up to date. So the files in the DLC actually downloaded are completely ignored and unused. To fix this issue, the game checks for the license file that it also installed along side the pack. You can even make CFW/Custom packs free to play if you know where to install the license, which is dependent on the ProductCodes.bin file found in the DLC folder
Edit 8/20/23: Two members of the LCE modding community, TheRealRory and obviouslyyes, came forward in a discord server with findings of old battle map names that they found in the Battle Map Pack 1 DLC. This prompted us to look into this and as it turns out, the Xbox 360 DLCs don't even install the initial versions for most packs. It seems to only contain whatever was finished at the time of submission. 4J could always finish them on time for the Title Updates within the updates themselves. Some DLC actually feature the PCK files of other packs. It's really bizarre.

"@TryyalAzureboarder All of the DLC packs are stored inside of the Title Update file for the game. None of the packs are actually installed onto your system, just unlocked, when you purchase them."
This is both correct and incorrect. For example, I copied the Star Wars Classic skin pack and Skin Pack 1 I bought to a USB drive, and on my PC I was able to go through the folders to find a PCK file I could extract with the HyperRipper feature of Dragon Unpacker to find the PNG files for the skins on each skin pack, so at least some of the older skin packs actually download the skins to your console separately.

@Outsidetheboxgames The VG Resource team removed all the texture and mash up packs because they were worried about Microsoft pulling a DMCA take down since they can be purchased on the Bedrock store. All skin packs available on Bedrock are also not available for this reason.

where is the plastic texture pack?

Hey all! If you're interested in having the sounds of console edition, I've submitted all of them here: https://www.sounds-resource.com/xbox_360/minecraftxbox360edition/ . I'm just waiting for some to get approved. (:

Nostalgia

@ChaoticPumpkin Yeah, I'm not sure what 4J Studios was intending to do with them. Skeleton and Zombie horses were also textured, and they partially implemented Spectral Arrows before discontinuing this edition of the game.

@LittleGreenGiant LittleBigPlanet is not on Xbox 360 Edition

interesting how in a lot of these texture packs the command block was textured, despite not being obtainable without save editing and on later versions completely unobtainable. Maybe they were going to implement them at some point.

All we need now is the PlayStation Little Big Planet Mash-up pack and all of the packs are done.

Are the skins you would otherwise need to buy LEGAL to be on here?

Emv2005 They are located in the environment folder of the Xbox title update. The Ghost texture is in the entities folder.
