Which column is used for the 31st of October?
The black and white ones are actually alpha maps. They're used to make the star and circle shaped edging around the dirt paths. It needs to be combined with another texture that resembles the town map to get the full effect. Animal Crossing City Folk also used this method for grass and cobblestones.
Does anyone know what the bottom three textures are, exactly? Are they used?
